Construction of Transit Operations Facility

The project consists of designing and constructing a new transit operations facility in Welland on the same site as the current facility to meet the needs of an expanding municipal and regional public transit network. The project scope includes design and construction of an approximately 50,000 square foot facility capable of housing and maintaining approximately 40 municipal and regional conventional and specialized buses. In addition, the facility will include areas necessary to effectively store, maintain, and manage the capital assets while also providing space for the requisite staff to train and administer transit operations in a safe and efficient manner.
