Description

The project involves upgrading Room 3 of the Radiation Oncology Unit in order to replace a radiosurgery linear accelerator at the Jewish General Hospital. The new arrangements will take into account the new post-pandemic realities (distancing, ventilation, etc.). The construction works include: adding concrete for radiation protection of the room; the installation of a new electrical distribution for the room; the installation of a new mechanical distribution with a redundancy system, the improvement of the medical gas network by the addition of medical gas outlet (oxygen); the installation of gypsum finishes and painting on the walls and ceiling, the installation of flooring and built-in furniture. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading health infrastructure.
