Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. This Notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to Massachusetts Audubon Society, Inc. under authority of CFDA 15.658 Natural Resource Damage Assessment, Restoration and Implementation. The Service proposes to provide financial assistance to the recipient to implement natural resource restoration projects that restore the injured natural resources and recreational lost uses of the Sudbury River, Massachusetts. Substantial involvement on the part of the USFWS is anticipated for the successful completion of the objectives to be funded. The Service will work closely with the Massachusetts Audubon Society to promote and implement the restoration projects. The Service will also oversee, review, and approve the Recipient's progress toward completion of its activities, and related financial and obligations specified under the award. Period of performance is from June 1, 2014 to March 31, 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505DM2, paragraph 2.14 (B) (2) is solely within the discretion of the Government. Questions concerning this announcement should be directed to Artela Jacobs (404) 679-7197 or Molly Sperduto (603) 223-2541, by email at artela_jacobs@fws.gov.
