The property would be used for government meetings, conferences, and official events, and when not in use for official purposes, it could be opened for private events and bookings. The PWD is preparing a detailed plan for operation, maintenance, and commercial use, exploring options such as handing over operations to an experienced hospitality company or running it under Delhi's Bed & Breakfast policy. The proposal aims to reduce high maintenance costs and generate revenue from government assets. Additionally, the incomplete camp office near the residence will be completed and used for government meetings and conferences, and may also be available for private events when not in official use.
