Overall objective of the project is cooperation between self-governments of Polish-Belarusian borderland in the field of preventing overweight and obesity among young generation through development of sports infrastructure. Development of sports infrastructure will influence on the greater access do the objects in the region, which will increase activity of the young generation. In connection with other factors, it will result in decrease the number of people affected with overweight and obesity. In more specific way, project want to achieve active participation of young people in sports engagements as well as instilling in them the healthy style of life and integration of the society of Polish-Belarusian borderland – participation of inhabitants of the borderland in two events. Another objective is also making a Cooperation of self-governments of the Suwałki Commune and the Ašmiany District that will influence on the exchange of information between the self-governments as well as will tighten the cooperation, which will result in continuation of undertaken activities on the basis of the Programme: “Live healthy and actively“, elaborated by the partners during the project implementation. Overall cross-border effect of project will be a development of sports infrastructure which will influence on the greater access do the objects in the region, which will increase activity of the young generation. In connection with other factors, it will result in decrease the number of people affected with overweight and obesity.
