"Bearing in mind that the city of Križevci from Croatia strives to become a 100% climate-neutral city by 2030, leading partner DRVO together with other European partners, by fostering mutual understanding, aims to raise awareness of the importance of strengthening the European integration process based on solidarity and EU values and encourage initiatives related to research, reflection and understanding of the dimensions of the negative impact of climate change and the creation of forums where common solutions can be discussed in a constructive way. The project includes preparatory activities, 3 online meetings, the organization of an international event and a reporting period, lasting a total of 6 months. It includes 7 partners from 7 countries. As part of the project, a three-day international conference ""By improving local knowledge and cooperation to sustainable places to live"" will be organized. The three-day international event will be organized in Križevci, Croatia, in the country of the leading partner. The international conference will gather 160 direct participants, including 135 foreign guests. participants. During the three-day international conference, 2 thematic round tables will be organized, one for young people, the other for representatives of partners. Presentation of partners, projects, examples of good practice, interactive lecture, panel discussion, cinema forum, photographic tour, concert and more are organized for all conference participants. Participants will be selected to bring together representatives from all 3 sectors (public, private and civil), taking into account the representation of marginalized groups, as well as the equal age and gender structure of invited citizens from seven cities."
