Description | The Cosner Tech Campus data center complex in Spotsylvania County is a large-scale project involving the construction of data center facilities, substations, and supporting infrastructure. The campus will cover 329 acres and include eight data center buildings, substations, battery and fuel storage, and water and sewer facilities. The first two-story data center facility is set to open soon, with the full campus expected to be operational by 2027. The project started in December 2023 and involves over 200 companies and more than 900 workers daily. It is part of Amazon's investment in the county, with plans to build a total of 6.6 million square feet of data centers across multiple projects. |
