Description | A Master Drainage Plan (MDP) will be developed for the County Road 2 corridor to guide the design of storm water infrastructure along County Road 2 within and immediately west of the Town of Cobourg. The MDP will evaluate options for storm water collection, conveyance and management and select a preferred alternative. The MDP will consider the storm water management requirements associated with widening of the future roadway as well the function of the County Road 2 corridor with respect to collecting and conveying storm water from existing/future development north of County Road 2. The preferred alternative will be selected to minimize existing and future flooding risks, protect water quality in the receiving watercourses/wetland and development on lands within existing urban boundaries. |
