Courtenay - 17th Street Bike Lanes

The project will improve active transportation by constructing bike lanes on 17th Street in the City of Courtenay. The improvements will create an east-west connection within the City. The project will create an east west connector and will join up with an existing bike lane and to Rotary Trail. Will benefit the pedestrian and bike traffic by separating them from vehicles. The project works include: - site preparation and removal of existing roadway - construction of multi-use pathway and cycle tracks including curbs, pavement markings, letdowns; - installation of an eco-counter; and, - all related works.
