Courtice Water Pollution Control Plant - Resource Recovery Study - Phase 2 (energy and resource recovery)

This Phase 2 study will focus on selected energy and resource recovery options identified in the previously completed Phase 1 study. We will prepare preliminary engineering design options for each measure or combination of measures, and will further develop the process design and economic evaluation for each measure. The options to be further evaluated include biogas optimization (including combined heat plant, renewable natural gas, vehicle biofuel), anaerobic digester optimization (sludge thickening, thermal hydrolysis), and advanced aeration system optimization.
