Description | The Cove Point section of the Bayfront Redevelopment Project in Jersey City is a public-private partnership aiming to transform 95 acres of previously contaminated land into a large mixed-use community. The second phase plans to add 1,438 housing units in several buildings designed by Perkins Eastman, with 35% of units set aside as affordable or workforce housing. The phase will also include new retail storefronts and outdoor park space. The current $8.6 million investment from New Jersey Community Capital will fund the pre-development phase. |
