Description
Description | This project will increase capacity to treat drinking water through the installation of two new treatment units at the existing treatment plant site and install a micro-hydro turbine to generate power from the raw water and replace the existing pressure reducing valves. This will bring the system in compliance with provincial Drinking Water Protection Act. The proposed treatment train (nanofiltration and UV) will lower disinfection by products level to water quality guidelines level. This will also reduce the operational requirements.
