Cowichan Valley Trail - Glenora Trails Head Park to Kinsol Trestle Trail Improvements

The project will complete improvements to the Glenora Trails Head Park and the Kinsole Trestle sections of the Cowichan Valley Trail in the Cowichan Valley Regional District. The improvements restore a section of old rail bed that has deteriorated through heavy usage and drainage issues. The project will ensure the safe usage of the trail by equine, cyclist and pedestrian users by removing ruts and increasing the drainage of the trail. The resurfacing will improve the experience for the users. The project works include: - grading and repair of the sub surface and installation of new surfacing to approx. 4.7km of trail; - installation of culverts and completing ditch repairs to approx. 1.2km of trail; and, - all related works..
