Description | CP2 LNG is Venture Global's third LNG export facility, located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The project has received final approval and Notices to Proceed from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and non-FTA export authorization from the U.S. Department of Energy. Site work has commenced, and the project is expected to deliver reliable low-cost LNG to global markets starting in 2027. It is expected to support approximately 3,000 new jobs in Louisiana and pay over $4 billion in local property taxes during operation. At peak construction, it will employ about 7,500 direct construction jobs and support tens of thousands of indirect jobs across over 30 states. The project follows Venture Global's modularized LNG facility strategy and is advanced in engineering, procurement, and contracting, with significant off-site work underway. |
