CPH:DOX - Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival was founded in 2003 and has grown to become one of the leading documentary events in the world, attracting approx. 117.000+ audiences and 1900+ industry professionals annually. CPH:INDUSTRY comprises CPH:DOX’s various activities dedicated to facilitate B2B exchanges and enhance the visibility, market potential and circulation of European films. With a strong focus on innovation and cross-sector collaboration, and by embracing related industries, CPH:INDUSTRY aims to be one of the main non-fiction industry platforms for exploring, testing and developing new business models. Activities include CPH:FORUM, an international financing and co-production forum, dedicated to facilitate the development and financing of visually strong creative documentary projects, crossing boundaries into the fields of hybrid cinema, visual arts, science and impact journalism. CPH:WIP, work-in-progress presentations following up on projects presented earlier at CPH:FORUM or at fora around the world and in need of the final push to completion and international launch. CPH:MARKET, a curated market offering sales agents, distributors, festival representatives and TV buyers access to 150+ documentary films of the official CPH:DOX selection, while matchmaking is facilitated by daily mini-press conferences, introducing the competition titles to interested buyers and press. CPH:HUB, an open access industry platform offering seminars, expert consultancy, matchmaking and social events to a wide variety of professionals, in addition to hosting professional delegations to CPH:INDUSTRY and featuring our related activities: the 5-days intensive program of CPH:CONFERENCE presented in partnership with Documentary Campus and a one-day INTER:ACTIVE SYMPOSIUM connected to our training programme CPH:LAB and nurturing the professional conversation about innovative forms of storytelling employing the use of digital media and interactive technologies.
