It will feature GE 7HA.03 turbines and is designed with an option to include carbon capture capability. The plant will use locally sourced natural gas and is capable of powering the equivalent of 850,000 West Texas homes. Gemma Power Systems will provide full engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, with detailed engineering handled by POWER Engineers, Inc. Construction is expected to begin in fall 2025 and complete in 2028. |
