Description | This project is located along CR 192/W. Old Savannah Road, approximately 10.0 miles southwest of the city of Millen in Jenkins County, Georgia. This project would replace the existing bridge on W Old Savannah Road over Deep Creek (Structure ID 165-0031-0). The project consists of rebuilding the bridge in place to minimize right-of-way and environmental impacts. The bridge will be closed, and traffic detoured using an offsite detour. The proposed typical section for the roadway consists of two 10-foot travel lanes (one in each direction) with 4-foot grassed shoulders. The proposed typical section for the bridge consists of two 10-foot travel lanes with 2-foot shoulders. The total project length is approximately 0.12 miles. |
