Description | The proposed project will replace the existing bridge (Bridge Serial # 311-0034-0) built in 1959, located on Town Creek Rd., Cleveland, GA. The current bridge length is 322 ft. and, the existing typical section of Town Creek Rd. consists of two 10 ft. travel lanes, with 8 ft. shoulders (2 ft. paved, 6 ft. unpaved) and a rural side ditch. To construct the bridge, the proposed project will shift Town Creek’s existing alignment north, starting approximately 1,200 feet west of the intersection of Gold Nugget Lane/Town Creek Rd and ending 100’ east of Patsy Drive/Town Creek Rd. The proposed typical section consists of two 12 ft. lanes (one in each direction), with 10 ft. shoulders (4-ft. paved, 6 ft. unpaved) and a 4 ft. bottom ditch. . |
