CR 2623/SIX FLAGS DRIVE FROM CS 4545/CRESTSIDE DRIVE TO I-20

This project will provide for a new sidewalk along the southern/eastbound side of Six Flags Drive from Crestside Drive to the intersection of the Interstate 20 ramps. The project also includes providing two sections of new sidewalk, about 800 feet total, along the northern/westbound side to close the gaps in the existing sidewalk. Also included are improvements to the pedestrian signalization at the two project signalized intersections at Factory Shoals Road and the I-20 ramps. Improvements will also include protected pedestrian mid-block crossings within the central section of the project. These will be signed and marked with a raised median. The western terminus will tie into an existing sidewalk in proximity to a neighborhood recreational facility. The eastern project limit is at the intersection of the I-20 ramps and the continuation of Six Flags Drive.
