This project will provide continuous and accessible sidewalks along both sides of Hammond Drive in the Perimeter Community Improvement District creating a safe and inviting environment for pedestrians. Existing sidewalks will be upgraded where necessary and new accessible sidewalks will be installed in locations where sidewalks do not currently exist. Crosswalks will be installed along with the attendant signal upgrades at the intersection of Hammond Drive. No construction activity will take place on the bridge. The length of this project is approximately 0.86 miles. The project limits are along both sides of Hammond Drive starting at the Glenridge Drive intersection and extending to the Fulton/Dekalb County Line where it will tie into existing sidewalk or sidewalk under construction in another project.
