This project consists of safety and operational improvements to Queen Mill Rd. The Rd will be modified to correct substandard horiz curves N of Mableton Pkwy and at Ivey Rd. Description | This project consists of safety and operational improvements to Queen Mill Rd. The Rd will be modified to correct substandard horiz curves N of Mableton Pkwy and at Ivey Rd. Several vert curves will also be modified to conform to national standards including several crest and sag vert curves between Hunnicutt Rd and Queensbrooke Way as well as a crest and sag vert curve between Ivey Rd and Veterans Memorial Hwy. C&G and sidewalk will be constructed along both sides of the rd to facilitate pedestrian movement and storm water drainage. Sidewalk will be added to the otherwise unmodified bridge over Queen Creek immed N of Queenbrooke Wy. The horiz align will be modified slightly 600' S of Queensbrooke Wy, and 2 concrete retaining walls added to avoid construction impacts on Queens Creek.The existing pavement width of two 11' lanes will be maintained. |
