Description

Description

This project would replace the bridge structure over Little Ochlocknee River overflow. The proposed project consists of reconstructing the bridge and adjacent roadway, utilizing an offsite detour for traffic. The total length of the project is approximately 0.20 miles. The proposed roadway consists of two 11-ft travel lanes with 6-ft shoulders (2-ft paved), guardrail, and side slopes varying from 4:1 to 2:1. The proposed bridge would be 168-ft long by 36-ft wide and would be constructed at the current location with the elevation lowered by approximately 1.5-ft. The proposed bridge also consists of 3 spans of 12 PSC box beams with an asphalt overlay. Traffic would be closed to both lanes in each direction and routed onto the proposed detour during the reconstruction of the new bridge structure (ID 275-0055-0). The proposed bridge will be constructed utilizing a temporary work bridge to the south of the permanent bridge.
