Description | The proposed project consists of maintaining the existing three-lane Sixes Road Bridge over I-575 and constructing a new four-lane bridge to the north of the existing bridge to provide a total of seven lanes over I-575. The proposed section would consist of two 12-foot through lanes in each direction with one 12-foot turn lane in the Northbound I-575 direction and two 11-foot turn lanes in the Southbound I-575 direction. The proposed interchange will tie to the four-lane widened sections of Sixes Road on either side of the interchange with I-575 and serve to alleviate a bottleneck at the interchange. |
