Description | Low Impact Bridge Replacement of CR 85/Fairview Road crossing over Polecat Branch 2.32 miles northwest of Nelson. The existing bridge is 38-ft long x 12-ft wide single span structure and is deficient and requires posting due to severe corrosion along the beams due to lack of paint, and all beams have severe pitting. The new bridge will be approximately 30-ft wide x 100-ft long allowing for two 10-ft lanes with paved shoulders and concrete barriers on each side. During construction an offsite detour will be required for less than a year. |
