DeAPlaneta SLU is a company dedicated to the acquisition of cinematic rights and film distribution in theaters, television channels and platforms which, in its more than 18 years of history has rbecome the second largest independent theatrical distributor as well as an indisputable reference in the audio-visual sector in Spain, with an average of 12 films released a year and a library of more than 500 titles. Along its history the firm has become an important European player thanks to the will of bringing closer brave and diverse European films to the Spanish audience, even the distribution of those has not been always easy, as they are often been independent or low-budget films, with little-known directors and/or actors, unusual plots, etc. That's the reason why we believe in the CREATIVE MEDIA distribution call as a way to empower and multiply the effects of our distribution choices, on one hand with the generation phase supports our will of selecting the best quality European cinema for Spanish audiences but also reduces the impact of economic risk that we may have incurred on, and, on the other hand, the reinvestment action of the call allows us to offer the Spanish audience the opportunity to know different artistic points of view that without the help of the CREATIVE MEDIA calls would be very difficult to get to distribute, which will help us at the same time to increase our value as a distribution company of European cinema. At this point our main challenge, taking into account that we are in a phase of generation of funds, would be to be able of generating enough funds to face, in the next stage of the action, a reinvestment project if not economically powerful, strategically important enough to allow DeAPlaneta SLU to bet on European title/s of higher risk.
