Description | Economic/Social Impact of the Project Brief- For facilitation of integration of large scale renewable energy generation, capacity addition [predominantly wind power], Intra-State Transmission System [InSTS] Green Energy Corridor [GEC] is being implemented by State Transmission Utilities of eight renewable energy rich states namely Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The total project cost in these eight states is Rs. 10414 cr. The funding pattern is 20percentage state equity, 40percentage GOI [MNRE] grant and 40percentage is KfW loan. |
