Our objective is to complete development at both artistic and production level, and to prepare the feature film project Care by author-director Marcell Gerő to enter into production. The project is a co-development between Campfilm (Hungary) and Schiwago Film (Germany). As for the artistic content, the envisaged activities include side research, scriptwriting, participating at script/project development workshops, production of a trailer or mood board, selection of the artistic and filming crew, casting, location scout and technical tests. And as for the production, they include working on the development and production budget, financing plan, development & production schedule, working on the co-production structure, submitting applications for funding, preparing the project for Eurimages co-production grant, participating at co-production markets and forums, finding an international sales agent, working on distribution & marketing strategies, organizing location scout and casting and assuring the legal background of the project. We expect to have updated artistic and production materials and be ready for the first day of principal photography. As an output, the project will have a script, new visual research material, a trailer or mood board, list of confirmed main cast and key artistic crew, updated financing plan and production budget as well as production schedule, new marketing items, market and workshop participations and ongoing or confirmed distribution interests.
