Description
Description | CED-FL 2023-2024 (BE) In 2023-2024 the Creative Europe Desk - Flanders (BE) (CED-FL) continues to promote the Creative Europe 2021-2027 programme to encourage the Cultural, Audiovisual and News Media sectors in the Flemish community of Belgium, e.g. in Flanders and in Brussels, to develop, create, show and share high-quality co-productions internationally, this in the spirit of 'European togetherness in diversity'. CED-FL (1/2-time Head/1/2-time MEDIA Desk officer, 1 MEDIA & 1 Culture Desk officer; 1 Communication manager) informs, networks, guides and consults organisations in the Culture, AV & News Media sectors in Flanders/Brussels and connects with the Flemish authorities on all Creative Europe (CE) initiatives and activities. Amplified attention goes to the funding opportunities of the Culture, MEDIA and Cross-Sectoral sub-programmes and sector related PPPA’s. The Desk equally refers to other relevant European programmes (HEUR, Erasmus+...). Attention goes to the CCS audiences as well. To achieve these goals CED-FL uses diverse communication channels and instruments (www.creativeeurope.be, newsletters, social media, publications, 1-to-1 meetings etc.) and engages in the co-organization of info-sessions and activities. With other desks or national funds, we create opportunities for more transnational high-quality cooperation within Europe. Whenever required, both Desks assist in bridging the European CCS policies with those of the Flanders Government and vice versa. The European themes of Digital transformation, Greening & Sustainability, Gender equality/inclusion/diversity or initiatives, such as the New European Bauhaus , fighting climate change and societal inequalities are put into the spotlights. Extra attention goes to the News/Journalism target group. On the occasion of the Belgium EU presidency in the 1st semester of 2024, the transnational scope is accentuated. - 'United in Diversity' CED-FL 'Pushes Borders' - |
