Description

Description

The CED will promote the Creative Europe programme to the Finnish cultural, audiovisual and creative sectors. We will make use of versatile communication channels to provide information on the programme, funding possibilities, the results and the value of European cooperation. By promoting successful projects, their makers and results, we will ensure high visibility of the programme and enable capacity-building, peer learning and sharing of best practices. We cooperate closely with the COM and the EACEA, the CED network, national administration and the cultural and audiovisual sectors to promote the programme in Finland. By working together with other desks, funding programmes and key stakeholders we aim to build the sectors' capacities to network, cooperate internationally and make use of EU funding possibilities. The cross-cutting priorities - sustainability, gender balance and inclusion - are addressed both in our work (promotion, events) and internally in project management procedures. Electronic means are emphasized in all communication and promotion for cost effectiveness, wide reach, equal participation possibilities and for ecological reasons. With a balanced combination of both live and online events as well as flexible possibilities for personal coaching and consultation, the CED will promote the CE programme and facilitate access to funding among the Finnish operators and stakeholders throughout the country and in all fields. In addition to the organization of different events and offering consultation and coaching services, the communication and promotion measures include producing newsletters, publications, informative bilingual (Fin/Swe) websites, active presence in social media channels and promoting peer experience. In 2023-24, the CED will publish 40 newsletters, organize/participate in ca 124 events in Finland/abroad, answer over 300 enquiries and reach almost 6500 people in social media & newsletters.
