The Creative Europe Desk Greece, operating in the Hellenic Ministry of Culture & Sports, will promote the Creative Europe 2021-2027 Programme in Greece. More specifically, the EU Department will promote the Culture sub-Programme, while the Greek Film Centre the MEDIA sub-Programme. For 2024, the main task of the Desk will be the diffusion of information about the Programme throughout Greece, as well as other funding opportunities and EU actions for the CCS. Moreover, the Desk will try a. to assist the professionals of the CCS organisations, with a special focus on the regional ones - which still seem to find transnational cooperation rather difficult - so as to submit coherent and successful proposals for EU funding, b. to facilitate networking with other organisations abroad and c. to carry out capacity building activities in terms of EU priorities. Furthermore, emphasis will be given to the diffusion of innovation and digitisation, gender equality and social inclusion, as well as the promotion of environmentally friendly practices, so as for the cultural and creative professionals to become sustainable and able to tackle the new challenges arising in the post Covid-19 era. Last but not least, the Desk will communicate and disseminate the results of the funded projects on every occasion, throughout Greece and beyond.
