The Creative Europe Desk Greece, operating in the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Directorate of International Relations & European Union and the HELLENIC FILM AND AUDIOVISUAL CENTER SA - CREATIVE GREECE (EKKOMED - Creative Greece), will promote the Creative Europe Programme in Greece, during the period of 2025-2027. More specifically, the European Union Department will promote the Culture sub-Programme and the EKKOMED-Creative Greece the MEDIA sub-Programme. During the above-mentioned period, the main task of the Desk will be the diffusion of information about the Programme throughout Greece, as well as other funding opportunities and EU actions for the Cultural and Creative Sector. Moreover, the Desk will try to assist the professionals of the CCS organisations, with a special focus on the regional ones - which still seem to find transnational cooperation rather difficult - so as to submit coherent and successful proposals for EU funding, b. to facilitate networking with other organisations abroad and c. to carry out capacity building activities related to EU priorities. Furthermore, emphasis will be given to the concepts of innovation and digitisation, gender equality and social inclusion, as well as the promotion of environmentally friendly practices, so as for the cultural and creative professionals to become sustainable and able to tackle the new challenges. Last but not least, the Desk will communicate and disseminate the results of the funded projects on every occasion, throughout Greece and beyond.
