Description

Description

The project concerns the activities and operations of Creative Europe Desk Luxembourg for the period from 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2022. Creative Europe Desk Luxembourg is the designated national contact point for the Creative Europe Programme in Luxembourg and a key one stop shop for information and advice about the Creative Europe Programme for Luxembourg-based cultural and creative sector professionals and stakeholders (and occasionally those based elsewhere in Europe). It is operated by two host organisations - Film Fund Luxembourg and Agence luxembourgeoise d'action culturelle - with long-standing experience in, for the former, the film and audiovisual industry and, for the latter, the Luxembourg cultural industry. Over the proposed 18 month project period, the Desks team of two staff will promote the opportunities of Creative Europe to its target audience by a range of means: regular email correspondence, consultancy sessions, info- and webinars, newsletters, in-person industry events and on social media. The Desk will also support the European Commission in disseminating the results and best practice examples of the Programme to its audience via those same means. To encourage cross-border networking and to leverage cooperation and co-production opportunities beyond national borders, the Desk will organise some of its industry events together with other Desks, often at key markets and festivals abroad. Expected results of the project include good participation of Luxembourg applicants in the various Creative Europe calls for projects, awareness among local and international stakeholders about the opportunities, significance and benefits of Creative Europe and better integration of Creative Europe's cross-cutting priorities (sustainability and inclusion) in the Desk's activities and submitted applications. The work undertaken over the 18 months will build on the lessons and achievements of the consortium implementing the Creative Europe Desk from 2014-2020.
