The Creative Europe Desks Estonia is the national representative in the network of Creative Europe Programme desks. The main goal Desk Estonia is to stimulate cross-border cooperation (both production/creation and professional mobility) between creative sector players throgh the possibilities of Creative Europe Programme; share information about other EU funding initiatives and advise aplicants about the Creative Europe programme calls nationally. The aim is to help find partners both nationally and abroad, assist and mentor in developing project ideas (including cross-cutting issues like environment and inclusiveness), find innovative ways to cooperate with diferent policy areas), share best practices, communicate and disseminate the programme results both in Estonia and amonst European partners. The Creative Europe Desk Estonia organises several infodays, events and consultation (both group consultatiosn and one-to-one consultatsions) to achieve programme objectives. For better results it is also essential to cooperate with national organisatsions representing dfferent fields of culture in order to find out the best potential for each sector, tackle challenges for international cooperation, and provide practical trainings needed for applicants for Creative Europe Programme. For the year 2021 and 2022, Creative Europe Desk Estonia management/structure continues to be similar as during the previuous programme period consisting of umbrella Desk (Ministry of Culture) and two co-beneficiaries divided between Culture and MEDIA strands as also nominated as designated organisations. The cross-sectoral strand (including policy and news media) will be covered by the consortium as a whole.
