Description | Interception of telecommunications, and information on and monitoring of bank accounts are among the methods specified by the Directive 2014/41/EU and EIO. In that context the non-localised nature of the data of the modern networks services such as the clouds challenges the crime investigators due to technical problems and the accompanied jurisdiction issues. Objectives - To identify the state of the art in relation with the implementation of Directive 41 within the EU MS - To establish a collection of best practices and lessons to be reused as inputs for the new curriculums within the higher level institutions with programs in the area of Law and Technology - To upgrade the competence of executive authorities in the field of EIO use and cloud forensics - To develop training programs for efficient EIO implementation and Live forensics investigation methods Activities - Analytical activities consisting of data collection from the authorities appointed under EU legislation in cases that involve cyber cybercrime - Educational activities for upgrading the targeted groups knowledge about the legal and technical challenges of EIO use and awareness building about the Directive 41 Type and number of persons benefiting from the project - 350-400 persons from the identifyed targeted groups Expected results - The most important results of LIVE_FOR will be in the changing attitudes, and the practice of the target groups that are supposed to use and apply the Directive 2014/41. The report about the current situation regarding EOI use in domains dealing with cybercrime and the national legislations of MS will provide information for carrying out education and training in the specified domains of the proposal. Type and number of outputs to be produced - 21 outputs, 3 reports, 2 workshops, 3 joint meetings, 2 partnerships, 2 information centers, 2 conferences, 4 newsletters, 3000 leaflets, 1 register, 4 on-line educational presentations |
