Critical Bridges Resilience Project

The project will improve domestic transport connectivity in Fiji by replacing four critical bridges on the country's main island with newly constructed bridges resilient to climate change and disasters. The project will enhance the capacity of FRA in asset management and preparing gender-responsive policies and investments. The project will also prepare an upstream, transport sector-wide multi-hazard and gender vulnerability assessment and an investment road map, including the preparation of at least one transport-related investment with innovative solutions to build resilience among the poorest and most vulnerable segments of the population.
