Description | The project involves the construction of four gas pipelines to transport gas from the Krk Island LNG terminal to Slovenia, Hungary, and other countries in Southeastern Europe. It includes a main gas pipeline system on the route Omišalj-Zlobin, Zlobin-Bosiljevo-Sisak-Kozarac, and Kozarac-Slobodnica, as well as an interconnection gas pipeline system with Slovenia on the route Lučko-Zabok-Rogatec. The total length of the pipelines is 216 kilometres. The project aims to position Croatia as a regional energy hub, ensure energy independence, and secure natural gas supply continuity for Croatia and other EU countries. The pipelines will also be capable of transporting hydrogen. |
