The project involves the appointment of a private sector Development Partner to lead the redevelopment of Crompton Place, a key strategic site in Bolton town centre. The vision is to transform the area into a high-quality, mixed-use scheme featuring new residential units, retail and leisure space, office accommodation, and an enhanced public realm, with opportunities for meanwhile uses during phased delivery. The Council-owned site, formerly a shopping centre, forms part of a wider regeneration framework and is central to Bolton’s long-term ambitions for economic revitalisation and urban renewal.
