Main objective : Cultural development and creative industries have a pivotal role to play in our social and economic development. However, companies working in digital media, film and TV are experiencing a talent drain towards big cities like London and Paris.This is why the microproject CROSS-CHANNEL FILM LAB aims to develop cinematographic projects of full-length films specific to two regions: Finistère and Cornwall. The project offers to implement a new European model for script and project development in order to stimulate innovation, to create connections with European networks, to generate social cohesion via a cinema common to both regions, and to offer sustainable and consistent development factors on these territories. Main actions : - A "laboratory" session for script writing and project development: Four writer-directors participate in a writing residency, coached by professional consultant writers - Digital Special Effects meetings: development of a specific methodological approach and validation of relevant creative principles and approaches for small and medium-budget films. - Transcript to the general public and professionals: public reading of the film script during the British Film Festival (Dinard) and the Cornwall Film Festival.
