Cross-Industry Transformation in Agriculture, Health and Beyond

"The proposed EDIH, ""Cross-Industry Transformation in Agriculture and Health and Beyond"" (CITAH 2.0), aims to leverage leading industries in agriculture and health, as well as other sectors, to drive cross-industry innovation. CITAH 2.0 will serve as a central hub for regional knowledge transfer and cross-industry adaptation and facilitate the adoption and spread of innovative technologies, AI, and digitalisation. The CITAH 2.0 consortium comprises the OFFIS Institute for Information Technology (coordinator), the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Osnabrück, Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, University of Osnabrück, the AgroTech Valley Forum, and the Innovation Quarter Oldenburg. As the consortium's structure and main partners will remain largely unchanged, the EDIH's successful efforts can continue seamlessly without any start-up time, as the processes are clear and we can build on our established network. Four types of services are provided: 1. Training and skills development measures (in particular on AI and Smart Farming Interoperability topics); 2. Test-before-invest projects in which the feasibility of digital solutions based on latest technological developments (in particular AI) for improving products, services or is trialled; 3. Advisory on access to finance for digitization activities; and 4. Events that promote and drive the networking of stakeholders from the two addressed industrial domains with information technology companies to form strategic alliances and ecosystems. To implement these new offerings, CITAH 2.0 will continue to build up capacities with partners interested in a collaboration, such as national technology transfer projects, regional chambers and economic development organisations, incubators and accelerators, as well as our “neighbouring” EDIHs in Germany, the Netherlands and beyond."
