The Crossroads project aims to develop the use of the theatrical arts in supporting migrants and communities, in order to foster inclusion and intercultural dialogue. The objectives of the project are, in particular: - improve the living conditions of young immigrants who live in social marginalization and psycho-physical distress, by activating supportive processes connected to the artistic experience; - develop intercultural dialogue in European society, through artistic actions open to the community; - supporting theater operators to develop new educational competences, in order to better understand their educational role and action. The Crossroads project sees, as its fundamental parts: - the creation of theatre workshops in all the contexts of the project’s organizations, accompanied by cooperation and transnational exchange activities, both remotely and face to face; - the creation of outputs and artistic events. The project will involve, as participants in workshops, events, a large number of beneficiaries. The workshops will include at least 180 participants, including: migrants of different ages, first and second generation, including refugees and asylum seekers; theatrical and cultural operators, educators and volunteers engaged in working with migrants and the communities to which they are part. The dissemination events will reach at least 3000 people including: inhabitants of the different contexts in which the project will take place; representatives of organizations operating in the theatrical, cultural and social fields; political decision-makers, representatives of cultural institutions at local, national and European level. Numerous other people will be reached by the remote dissemination activities. The project will produce two outputs: IO1 - Crossroad Toolkit , IO2 - Crossroad Documentary The impact aims to foster the knowledge and use of theatrical methodologies for the social inclusion of migrants and in the creation of multicultural communities
