Crown Paints Emulsion Binder Factory and Plastic Injection Moulding Plant

Crown Paints Kenya is investing Sh141.24 million to construct a new emulsion paint binder factory and a plastic injection moulding plant in the Lukenya area of Athi River, Machakos County. The project includes modern godowns, production facilities, and support infrastructure on approximately 9.89 acres of industrial land. The factory aims to reduce import costs by producing emulsion binder locally and to manufacture plastic packaging in-house to address quality inconsistencies. The facility will also install solar photovoltaic systems to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions.
