Harris Homes is a redevelopment by Atlanta Housing Authority. The proposed Harris Homes streetscape project provides improvements along Lowery Blvd, Peeples St., Baldwin St. West View, Front Street, etc. at the housing development. This is a sidewalk improvement project beginning from South of Sell Avenue and ending North of Interstate 20. The planned improvement will add to the pedestrian access in the growing neighborhood, encourage urban living, minimize sprawl development and reduce vehicular usage leading to improved air quality. This project will develop the area leading to mitigation of traffic congestion and encourage future developments which will attract residence and businesses. The proposed project will add pedestrian access improvements such as installation of sidewalks, restriping, installation of pedestrian lighting, landscaping, and Street furniture and reset street name signage for uniformity.
