Côte d'Ivoire - Economic and Financial Management Support Project (PAGEF)

The Economic and Financial Management Support Project (PAGEF) is an institutional support project whose aim is to support the implementation of the public finance reforms master plan and monitor National Development Plan (NDP) 2016-2020. Strengthening the effective, efficient and transparent management of public resources will be a determining factor for a successful NDP implementation. Indeed, after the political crisis of the last decade, the Bank quickly set up in June 2011, an emergency program for the restoration of basic administrative and social services, capacity building component (PURSSAB / RENFCAP) which brought substantial support to the financial authorities and other economic structures and financial resources in terms of training and logistical support. The PAGEF will help to consolidate the achievements of this programme. The project’s total cost is estimated at UA 18 402 628. It has three components which are: (i) support to domestic revenue mobilization; (ii) support to economic management and public expenditure transparency; and (ii) project management.
