Côte d'Ivoire - Rural Hydraulics Project

The present intervention concerns the Rural Hydraulics Project. It aims to cover the shortage of drinking water supply for rural populations in several Departments. The project is expected to enable people to settle on fertile agricultural land and will promote productivity improvements. The main components of the project are: (i) boreholes equipped with pumps; (ii) the construction of improved village water systems (HVA) and sources; (iii) training and awareness-raising; (iv) monitoring and control of works; (v) miscellaneous materials and equipment; (vi) project management and (vii) audit.
