The project aims at strengthening the twinning already existing between the Cities of Fermo and Ansbach under the cultural and socio-economic aspects organising two main events and involving citizens, cultural organisations, enterprises and schools on agrifood and tourist fields. Under the cultural aspect the objectives of the project are the following: - to improve the knowledge of the cultural agrifood heritage of the two cities and preserve it as European cultural Heritage. - to reinforce the sense of belonging to the European cultural identity. Under the socio-economic aspect the objectives are: - to improve the European tourism related to the agrifood sector by enhancing it in Ansbach and Fermo areas - to strengthen the cooperation and the exchange already existing between the schools present in the area of Fermo and Ansbach in agrifood and tourist sector. - to strengthen the cooperation between the two local authorities and exchange the best practises in the agrifood sector related to the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the measures to support traditional farming practices and protect local food products as well as the Farm to Fork Strategy and the legislative Framework for Sustainable Food Systems. - to strengthen the cooperation between the two local authorities and exchange the best practises in the tourism sector related to the EU policies on tourism and in particular sustainable tourism. - to strengthen the partnership between the Italian and German agrifood enterprises present in the area of Fermo and Ansbach, (with a focus on business women) exchanging the best practises and promoting a discussion on the main issues of implementation at practical level of the European Policies in agrifood sector and in particular on sustainable agriculture, and tourism, suggesting improvement especially on European Policies addressed to the female entrepreneurship.
