Description | The project consists of upgrades to local roads in the town of Raleigh, both in terms of surfacing and stormwater infrastructure. The scope of the project involves upgrading 11 roads of 1.3 kilometers as they no longer have granular and therefore cannot be graded. The project also involves the installation of 50 meters of properly sized culverts and 380 meters of ditching to protect road infrastructure and alleviate flooding. The project aims to accommodate water flow to prevent flooding and protect current road infrastructure as well as providing a more reliable road network. The project will benefit the community by providing improved and more reliable road infrastructure and increase capacity to manage stormwater. |
