The project involves the development of a AU$160 million (US$105.7 million) luxury retirement village in Sydney’s southwest, a joint venture between Pariter (a division of Plenary) and Cumberland Country Golf Club. It includes the construction of 228 apartments, with the first 40 homes (two and three-bedroom residences and penthouses) currently for sale. The project features luxury wellness facilities such as an indoor heated pool, fitness center, salon/barber, allied health treatment rooms, an on-site café with golf course views, and an alfresco barbecue area. Additionally, it entails a major overhaul of the golf club’s clubhouse and 18-hole course, enhancing facilities for both residents and club members while minimizing disruptions. The project is expected to create 190 construction jobs and 80 ongoing operational positions, with construction set to begin in mid-2026. Branded under Salus Living, the community aims to offer an active retirement lifestyle with a focus on physical and emotional well-being, set in a unique golf course location.
