This infrastructure will replace existing water treatment works at Pontsticill, Llwyn-Onn, and Cantref.The water treatment plant will be capable of processing an average output of 160Ml/day (megaliters/day) and a maximum output of 225Ml/day. It will include a storage tank of 150Ml for treated water to supply safe drinking water to over 600,000 people across the DCC South East Wales Conjunctive Use System (SEWCUS) network. |
