The revolution of information technologies has changed the way people relate with others and with themselves. In hyper-modern societies, where privacy fades away, telepresence is here to stay, and online social interactions obey specific rules which are important to understand. The 4th Industrial Revolution is further rubbing out the frontier between physical and digital worlds, forcing workers from all sorts to acquire skills beyond the traditional academic curriculum. Thus, training to address new methodologies and skills that are inextricably linked to digitalization is paramount. As such, the corpus of knowledge needs to be updated and adapted to this new plateau where two group of actors with different background perform: Human Behaviour Background (HBB), ie. mental health care professionals and Exact Sciences and Engineering background (EEB), such as engineers and data scientists. Aiming at tackling the shifting context and the existing gaps in academic and professional training in mental e-Health, this master’s degree sets to provide HBB and EEB professionals with the corpus of knowledge in the areas of human behaviour, mental health, and IT. On the one hand, the accurate management of data processing derived from the quantification of human behaviour. And on the other, the use of IT applications to better understand, research, assess and intervene in human behaviour and mental health. As such, CYBER EMJMD will enrol 96 students, half from each these two areas that will be assigned in teams of two (CYBER-T), to train competences under CYBER transdisciplinary perspective. It is expected that students with HBB gain competences with digital systems and EEB students will learn how to negotiate within human behaviour context, both amplifying, at the same time, skills on their original background. CYBER EMJMD will deliver transdisciplinary outcomes in the form of dissertations and digital applications that will uncover the future of eHealth interventions.
