The global nature of cyberspace, which guarantees a high degree of anonymity, has resulted in the transfer of crime into virtual space, which is increasingly being used for various types of fraud against the interests of the countries that form the EU . The increasing scale of crimes committed in the digital space and the access of perpetrators to ever newer technologies and tools opens up enormous opportunities and thus increases the needs of the Police in terms of equipment and specialised software allowing for the acquisition of reliable electronic evidence. The objectives of the project proposed by KWP Radom are: to provide tools to support operational activities in the area of combating activities detrimental to the financial interests of the European Union, to strengthen investigative capabilities in detecting and combating fraud, and to build the Police's detection potential by improving technical knowledge and specialised and technically advanced equipment. The project, through the purchase of equipment, specialised software and the implementation of training courses for police officers involved in the detection process, is in line with the general objective of the EUAF programme - the protection of the European Union's financial interests - and the specific objective - preventing and combating fraud, corruption and any other illegal activity affecting the financial interests of the UE.
